False Crown

Long time no post! A lot of things have happened since we last updated our website; numerous shows, two headline slots, a merch drop, live footage, a new logo and we’ve got some more shows to announce in the coming months.

As well as this, we have booked studio time at Loud Noises Production Studio on February 22nd to record a new single called False Crown. This track is the heaviest we’ve ever written and it is acting as the cross over between our old and new sound. For those of you who have seen us live, you will know this track as Enemies; but rest assured, it is still the same song, we’ve just reworked it slightly.

We are still unsure as to when this track will be released, but we’ll keep you updated.

Shipwrecks Release

So, after 12 weeks of hard work, 3 recording sessions and endless hours of promotion across all social media networks: Shipwrecks is finally released!

As a band, this is the best thing we have ever done, been a part of and put our names on; and to think, when it was first brought to the table as a new song idea, 3/5 of us hated it! Since then it has undergone several changes, some down to us and others courtesy of Crayg Lewis Williams at Sector 7 Studios, so thanks for that man!

This song is not just a new single for us, it is the start of something a lot bigger that in the coming months you will begin to see more of. We are incredibly excited to reveal our plans and hopefully when we record our debut EP you will hear the changes we plan to make!

Up to this point, you have been amazing with promotion and support for us and we really appreciate it! However, as of now, Shipwrecks is released to the world, potentially, and to make that a reality we’d need your full support! To say we’d appreciate people sharing this would be an understatement; we wouldn’t be able to thank you enough if you did! We’re going to be having a huge step-up of promotion, so why not join us?!

We’ll stop annoying you all now and let you listen to what you’ve all been patiently waiting for over the past 12 weeks!

Thanks again for everything, without you, there would be no point in continuing with this!

Update on O2 Academy Gig

A while back we mentioned that we were playing another gig at Birmingham’s O2 Academy 3.  Since then, we have had the date confirmed and also, who we are playing with!

The gig is on October 3rd and unlike last time, we’re playing third! We would also like to announce that we are going to be playing with some amazing bands; All Ends Beneath, Akheron, Rejuvenate and headliners, Almost Easy.

All of TSFG are very excited to be playing this gig and we all want to see a similar turnout, if not a bigger one, than last time. In regards to tickets, they are £6 and available from our vocalist, Dan Wilson.

New Track Released – Signs

We are excited to announce the official release of our new track Signs which is now available to download in many digital audio formats.

Recorded in April at Univibe Audio in Birmingham, Signs, is the third track we have released, we hope you like it.

We have also released digital downloads of our two previously recorded tracks, For Ourselves and Jagger’s Got Nothing On Me.

While you wait for the official release of Signs we thought you would like to see the artwork for the track. The photo was taken inside one of Birmingham’s grandest buildings and we are extremely grateful to Film Birmingham for allowing us to venture inside the former Birmingham Municipal Bank on Broad Street, where we got some really awesome photos.

Signs will be released on Monday 17th June 2013 at 7pm so check back then to hear and download our new track, which was recorded and mixed at Univibe Audio in Birmingham.
