Shipwrecks

Released 5th January 2014 our latest track Shipwrecks is available to download in many digital audio formats.

Recorded in April at Sector 7 Studios in Digbeth, Birmingham, Shipwrecks, is our fourth release.

This song is not just a new single for us, it is the start of something a lot bigger that in the coming months you will begin to see more of. We are incredibly excited to reveal our plans and hopefully when we record our debut EP you will hear the changes we plan to make!

LYRICS

I think our boat is drifting
Pulled away by the tide
We’ve dropped our anchors so far out
We cannot see the shoreline
An armada approaches, never sighting land
Lives lost to vice and treason
No lines drawn in the sand

How can we stop from sinking
How can we end these lies
There’s no more chances, we either sink or swim
We’ve capsized

For some the sea is home
The only life they’ve ever known
All those years spent out at sea
No confines have they been shown
Endless in their conquest
Impatient in their demands
Self control non-existent
They lost their way and sank
We’re surrounded by these shipwrecks
Barren and forlorn
Drowning in the shallow waters
Our fragile minds were torn

What good are your walls
What good are your walls
What good are your walls
When you built them on sand

A storm is coming
Raging tides
These walls will crumble
And come falling down

These shipwrecks are our homes
We are lost but not alone
These shipwrecks are our homes
These shipwrecks are our homes

These shipwrecks are our homes
