Ryan Price: Drums
I first started listening to metal music when I was 12 years old, I was introduced to the metal genre by my dad, who has supported me massively ever since I began playing drums and from when I began playing with Their Souls For Gold, for that I can never thank him enough for what he’s done, and ever since being introduced to the metal genre, music has become such a big thing to me in recent years.
I began teaching myself how to play the drums only 3 years ago, but since then, my ability to be a drummer has become much bigger and better as time passes. some of my influences for me becoming a drummer include people such as Michael “Moose” Thomas (Bullet for My Valentine), Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Jeremy Spencer (Five Finger Death Punch), the late James “The Rev” Sullivan (Avenged Sevenfold) and a few more, why these people influnced me more than others is because of the serious amount of talent they all have when they play, these all have a massive influence on my playing style.
Their Souls For Gold is my first musical project, so before I joined Their Souls For Gold, I used to play drums for fun or whenever I had any spare time free, so I have no experience in this field, but the confidence I have with Their Souls For Gold is unbelievable with the amount of talent that we all possess, I believe that Their Souls For Gold can go very far in years to come.
